Juliana Trail Self guided Gravel bike tour
About the tour
The Juliana Trail is a breathtaking cycling route that weaves through the stunning landscapes of Slovenia’s Julian Alps, offering an unforgettable mix of nature, culture and true adventure. Spanning approximately 265 kilometers, this trail is perfect for both avid cyclists and those looking for a leisurely ride amidst breathtaking scenery.
The self-guided tour allows you to take as much time as you want for cycling and exploring Slovenia’s exquisite landscape. We will prepare the cycling itinerary, organise accommodation and transport of your luggage so you can focus on cycling and enjoying your well deserved cycling holidays.
Juliana Trail offers a mix of terrain, including paved paths, gravel roads, and forest trails. While some sections are challenging, there are easier alternatives for those wishing to conserve energy for the following days. Cyclists should be prepared for ascents and descents, particularly when navigating the mountain passes. In our itinerary the roads are mostly gravel, with some short sections of rocky parts. There are alternatives for the ones who want to choose challenging terrain.
