Your journey begins with a scenic drive into the heart of the valley, where you’ll explore natural wonders like Tolmin Gorge and the magical Kozjak Waterfall. Along the way, you’ll also have a chance to dive into the region’s fascinating past at the Kobarid Museum, one of the most important World War I museums in Europe.

On the second day, discover the alpine charm of Bovec and its surroundings, including the powerful Boka Waterfall, the picturesque Virje Waterfall, and the emerald river itself. Whether you choose a relaxed sightseeing experience or an adrenaline-filled activity like cycling, rafting or zip-lining, this tour offers the perfect balance of exploration and adventure.

Day 1 – Gorges, Waterfalls & World War I Heritage

Start your journey with a comfortable pickup in Ljubljana, Bled, or at the airport, followed by a scenic drive into the Soča Valley.

Your first stop is the stunning Tolmin Gorge, the lowest and southernmost entrance to Triglav National Park, where turquoise waters carve through dramatic rock formations. Afterward, enjoy a relaxing lunch in one of the valley’s local restaurants.

In the afternoon, step into history at the Kobarid Museum, which tells the story of the Isonzo Front during World War I. Continue with a short scenic walk to the enchanting Kozjak Waterfall, hidden inside a moss-covered limestone chamber – one of Slovenia’s most iconic natural sights.

The day ends with a scenic drive deeper into the valley toward Bovec, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by the Julian Alps.

Day 2 – Bovec Highlights & Optional Adventure

After breakfast, explore the natural highlights around Bovec. Visit the majestic Boka Waterfall, Slovenia’s most powerful waterfall, and the fairytale-like Virje Waterfall.

In the afternoon choose between a scenic exploration of hidden gems like the Great Soča Gorge, Šunik Water Grove, or elevate your experience with an optional adventure activity. Options include cycling, white water rafting, kayaking, canyoning, zip-line, or even paragliding above the valley – making this day as relaxed or as thrilling as you wish.

After a full day of exploration, you’ll return to your chosen drop-off location in Ljubljana.
