Experience the untouched beauty of the Julian Alps on this carefully designed 2-day adventure that combines iconic sights with lesser-known natural treasures. This tour takes you through alpine valleys, emerald rivers, and breathtaking mountain passes, offering a perfect balance of scenic exploration and optional outdoor activities.
Your journey begins with a comfortable pickup in Ljubljana, Bled, or at Ljubljana airport, followed by a scenic drive into the heart of Slovenia’s alpine world.
Day 1 – Alpine Lakes & Scenic Mountain Pass
Start your adventure with a visit to the magical Zelenci Nature Reserve, known for its vibrant green pools and peaceful surroundings.
After, explore the picturesque Lake Jasna, a perfect spot for photos and a short stroll. In the afternoon, enjoy one of the most scenic drives in Slovenia over the legendary Vršič Pass, with multiple stops for breathtaking panoramic views.
On the way we’ll stop to see the Russian Chapel, hear about the valley’s history and explore the famous Great Soča Gorge. In late afternoon we’ll arrive to Bovec, a charming alpine town famous for its outdoor activities, where you’ll spend the night surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Julian Alps.
Day 2 – Soča Valley Highlights & Optional Adventure
Wake up in the heart of the stunning Soča Valley and begin with exploring some of the valley’s most beautiful waterfalls, including Virje Waterfall and Boka Waterfall.
After seeing Bovec famous waterfalls you’ll have time for lunch. In the afternoon you can choose between a relaxed sightseeing experience or an adrenaline-filled activity. You can either explore hidden natural gems such as the Šunik Water Grove and the historic Kluže Fortress, or upgrade your day with an unforgettable adventure like cycling, white-water rafting, kayaking, canyoning, zip-lining, or paragliding.
In the late afternoon, we’ll return you to your preferred drop-off location, completing your immersive alpine experience.
