Departing from Ljubljana, this small-group (up to 8 people) day trip takes you into the heart of the mountains. Our first stop is at Lago di Bled, one of Europe’s most beautiful lakes, where you’ll have an option to visit Castello di Bled and take a traditional Pletna boat across the lake to the charming island with its iconic church, enjoy some free time to explore the lake and warm up with a cup of tea/coffee and try the famous cream cake.
We’ll continue through scenic alpine valleys to Planica, the legendary cradle of ski jumping, and on to Zelenci Nature Reserve, famous for its striking turquoise springs that stay vivid even under a blanket of snow. On the way we will make a photo stop at one of the best views on the majestic Špik mountain range in gozd Martuljek as well as a stop in the charming alpine town of Kranjska Gora.
