2. Is the cave visit guided?

Yes. Postojna Cave includes a train ride + guided walking tour.

3. What is the temperature inside Postojna Cave?

The cave is around 10°C year-round. We recommend warm clothing and comfortable walking shoes.

4. Is the tour suitable for older travelers, children or pregnant women?

Yes, the cave paths are paved and suitable for most visitors. It is safe for children, older people and pregnant women. However, the castle has stairs. The tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility impairments.

5. What if the weather is bad?

Both attractions are mostly indoors, so tours operate year-round even in case of pouring rain.

6. Is lunch or any other food included in the tour?

There is no food or fixed lunch break included. However, if the entire group wishes to go for lunch, the guide will make a lunch break and suggest a good restaurant. Private tours are fully flexible.
