Self guided Bike tour in Julian Alps
About the tour
Are you up for an extraordinary bike tour, where you will discover some of the greatest tourist spots but also some hidden gems along the way? Don’t miss out on this opportunity to discover some of the most beautiful slovenian places by bike!
The self-guided tour allows you to take as much time as you want for cycling and exploring Slovenia’s exquisite landscape. We will prepare the cycling itinerary, organise accommodation and transport of your luggage so you can focus solely on cycling and enjoying your well deserved holidays.
The roads where you will cycle are well maintained, most of the time avoiding the traffic. However where there’s no avaliable cycling roads you will need to be cycling on the main roads. You will be cycling from 39 to 48 km a day.
In a few days you’ll catch the sight of some of the most scenic vistas in Julian Alps, feel the climate changing from the Alpine to Mediterranean one. You’ll start your journey at lake Bled, continue to Kranjska Gora and Bovec. Most of the time you’ll be cycling through Triglav National Park, the majestic alpine valleys, over the highest mountain pass in the country all the way to the Soča valley. You will finish with cycling at Most na Soči, a town with a beautiful emerald lake, where after three days of cycling you can rejuvenate yourself by taking a refreshing dip in the lake.
